Why hasn’t Lifey been updating his Blog??????? The answer to that question is simple.. WORK!!!!!!! Grinding!!! It has been a pretty busy top of the year for ya boy in regard to music, and trusts me, I’m not complaining… It’s been a blessing. I knew that I wanted to start of 2010 strong and thank God for allowing my team and me to do that. As many of u know, I took a while off after I left (Beatmart/Provident) to focus on my health, getting some personal things in order. Seeing that I haven’t released an album since 2006 (4 years), I appreciate all the artists, producers, DJ’s, radio/mix shows, magazines, churches, labels, ect. that have still been reaching out to me in regard to music and ministry. I also know there are a ton of people who have no idea who Japhia Life is, seeing that a large portion of people that frequent the CHH community have done so within the last 3-4 years, and my last record was released 4 years ago. That being said, I look forward to helping familiarize a lot of newer individuals with the music this year, and re-introducing myself as well as my team to the CCH and Gospel communities, and beyond.
I know that a lot of you have been waiting on Westside Pharmacy, my follow up to 2006’s Fountain of Life. But first out the gate is Nazareth, an album compiled of unreleased songs that were recorded during the creative processes of  2004’s Hell’s Diary:The Healing LP, Fountain of Life, and after. As well as the brand new single “Does Anybody Know” produced by Chris Batson. I am excited about the humbling process the Lord has been taking me thru, and I am also excited about the doors that He is opening for my team and me in mainstream Gospel and in the secular Hip Hop community as well. I look forward to building with more secular artists in regard to the Gospel, and sharing my faith throughout those communities. I also look forward to discovering new Christian artists and producers that look to share their faith with the world, and with other believers as well. I desperately ask for your prayers as we navigate through various genres of music and entertainment. That being said, check back in a couple of hours for the (cover/artwork) for Nazareth. God bless…Lifey
