“Bang… To Hell With Ya Standard”

      How dare you pull a gun out on me!!! My brotha… I’m no stranger to dodging bullets and gunfire. How’d you like if I pulled a gun out on you? Oh the hypocrisy… He better not be standing here when I get back. He best not be standing here… I said to myself, as I walked backwards, not turning my back on the gunman. Blood boiling, I made my way to my building, literally tasting my vengeance. That’s what I get for not wearing my weapon at night. Since when do we brandish and not discharge, I said to myself on my furious stroll. Should this have been taken merely as an act to invoke dread, and promote conformity? If so… he has failed! And to excuse his plight would be a fools forgiveness. My vengeance will be an act of piety, executed on behalf of pure religion. Finally inside, I headed toward my library where I kept my weapon. Once concealed, I got back on my furious stroll, thirsty for retribution. There’s about to be a murder, I yelled. Bring out your wine glasses… There’s about to be a killin under moonlight… A sermon on the hill via bloodshed, no doubt! The man chose violence over diplomacy. The least he coulda done was waited till we got past the church building. Stained glass windows… Oh the irony! As I got closer to my destination, I could hear the laughs of the gunman. It began to sound like music in my ears… It was almost dawn by now. The sun had already begun to peek over the horizon. I walked faster now, almost running around the corner. Heeey… How dare you pull a gun out on me. It’s far to late for textured apologies. Your moralistic context, is in all actuality, a friend of karma and an enemy of the sovereignty of God! In other words, your legalism has never been legal. How dare you pull a gun out on me, I yelled, as I raised the crucifix that hung above my mantelpiece. Bang.. To hell with ya standard… Bang.. To hell with ya standard… BANG.. To Hell With Ya STANDARD!!!!!!!
